The Jack’ headless bass from Hohner. Built in THE 198O’S this bass features a through neck with 24 frets, a Steinberger System bridge/machine heads, and two EMG Select humbuckers wired to individual volume pots and a master tone.

bass plays exceptionally well, the chunky yet narrow neck feeling assured in the hand, making for very easy fretting and dual cutaways provide great access all the way up to the 24th fret. It is fairly lightweight at 7.2lbs and the headless design makes the 34” scale length feel shorter than it actually is.

The tone of the dual EMG Select humbuckers is thick and meaty, with a chunky sounding low end, clear mids and clear high frequencies. The tone pot provides usable tones in all positions, taking you from warm vintage tones with the pot rolled off through to powerful modern sounds with the tone pot wide open. Independent volume controls allow you to dial in the two pickups seamlessly, with a rich full sound at the neck and plenty of grit at the bridge.
