This used Boss FDR-1 ’65 Deluxe Reverb is based on the quintessential Fender 1965-era Deluxe Reverb amp, a tube-driven amp known for its characteristic overdrive. With Fender’s help, Boss recreated that tone and built it into a stompbox. Featuring the same controls as the original amp, it has Level, Gain, Treble, Bass, Vibrato, and Reverb, so you can get that perfect ’60s and ’70s rock tone. Additionally, the Boss FDR-1 ’65 Deluxe Reverb can also be used as pre-gain pedal when put through an already-overdriven amp, giving it the tonal qualities of the ol’ ’65.
