Fender Acoustasonic
Telecaster
In fantastic condition
Comes with a non fender hard case
Hard-to-find, first
version Fender Acoustasonic Telecaster.
Unlike the current,
highly stylized acoustic version with soundhole, the unique design of this
instrument borrows strongly from the original Telecasters of old. Fender worked
closely with Fishman in order to produce a unique, proprietary blend circuit,
which produces some pretty fantastic tones you can’t get from a regular Tele,
when you blend the two pickups. The guitar is in unused, near-mint condition
with zero fret wear, and has had a recent pro set-up. Gorgeous grained
chambered ash body – it’s light and resonant too! This was an expensive
instrument when introduced and utilizes top quality U.S. made parts, which FMIC
decided to have assembled in Mexico. It’s a pro-grade instrument, not a budget
guitar. It was expensive when retailed new (much more expensive than MIM Strats
& Teles), with pricing along the lines of regular US production Fender
instruments. The twisted Tele neck PU combined with the Fishman Aura preamp
& Piezo system sounds great, with very unique and usable tones.
