USA Highway One- first generation 2002
Highway one strat as played by Cory Wong and Chris Buck.
These first generation Highway one guitars are extremely desirable because they are essentially Fender American Standard guitars with a thin satin finish which relics naturally over time, looking beautiful and the light wood and finish allied to a lightweight body creates an extremely resonant guitar which sounds great and is lovely to play.
In short they punch way above their price point and sound absolutely fantastic and are only going to go up in value over time, which they are already starting to do now that guitarists are realising how great they are!
These have thin skin paint, designed to wear quicker. This one has… it’s been played extensively but looked after interns of service. Neck is beautiful, everything works as it should.
Specs include an Alder body, Maple neck with comfortable modern C profile, maple fingerboard, 70’s style headstock, 9.5” radius
