The American guitarist Richie Kotzen is one of the great virtuosi of the recent past and has enjoyed worldwide success with bands like Poison and Mr. Big. Together with Fender Japan Kotzen developed a Signature electric guitar in the form of Fender Japan Limited Richie Kotzen Strat MN Transparent Red Burst, which is now available in limited quantities in Europe for the first time. Based on the popular Fender Stratocaster, it delivers a broad sound spectrum with three DiMarzio single coils, while Riegelahorn top and gold hardware immediately catch the eye.
Classic Stratocaster with Maple Top
Fender Japan Limited Richie Kotzen Strat is based on the proven Stratocaster electric guitar with an alder body and screwed, one-piece maple neck, complemented by a top made of fine curly maple with intensive grain. Furthermore, thanks to the fleshy “Thick C” profile, the neck offers a rich grip which, in conjunction with the flat 12″ fretboard radius, allows any reef and solo to come out of your fingers easily.
DiMarzio Custom Single Coils
The Fender Japan Limited Richie Kotzen Strat MN Transparent Red Burst uses three DiMarzio Custom Single Coils as pickups, which have been specially adapted to the sonic ideas of the string magician. Accordingly, the pickups deliver a vintage sound on steroids, covering a wide spectrum between crystal clear clean sounds and modern rock riffs without denying the bell-like clarity of the Stratocaster.
Optical highlights thanks to gold hardware
The classic Fender Synchronized Tremolo brings melodies and licks with softly shimmering or clearly modulating vibratos to life, whereby the saddle made of synthetic bone in combination with the high-quality Gotoh Vintage tuners guarantees an exact tuning. The noble gold plating of the hardware also perfectly complements the transparent red burst finish of the Fender Richie Kotzen Strat.
