Gibson USA Les Paul Tribute in Satin Tobacco Burst
In near mint condition
Comes with Gibson gig bag
The Les Paul Tribute features one of Gibson’s
staple tonewood combinations. Its Mahogany body and Maple neck serves as a
fantastic tonal foundation for the powerful humbuckers and adds great balance
when playing standing up.
Gibson have used ultra modern weight relief on the
body. The most thorough chambering process that the company offers, this
provides a better resonance and a wider frequency response. Apart from its
tonal perks, this treatment lightens the instrument too, making it the perfect
onstage workhorse.
Sound
The Les Paul is famous for sporting a double-dose
of humbuckers, and the Les Paul Tribute is no exception. In the bridge position
you’ll find the 490T, a powerful pickup that boasts a lively mid-range and a
crunchy character when using overdrive or distortion.
It’s paired 490R neck humbucker is similarly
voiced, akin to that of a traditional PAF. Still projecting a strong mid-range,
this pickup gives you creamy and warm-sounding lead tones, but also works well
in conjunction with clean settings.
Hardware
Gibson’s Aluminium Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge
provides a stable and solid feel under the picking hand, with its simple and
accessible design making it easy to adjust your action or intonation.
Combined with an aluminium stopbar, this resonant material only enhances the
Les Paul’s sustain even more.
