The Ignition Club is constructed with a full hollow-body design, utilising a spruce top and flamed maple back and sides, the full spectrum of sound is covered. The maple earths the tone with a full-bodied foundation, offering a tight together low end, with a compact mid-range, and exceptional harmonics within the high-end, all of which the spruce top reinforces with its own tonal characteristic. Absent of f-holes, the projection of the instrument is still preserved, but the resonance is elevated to new heights.

This hollow-body bass is constructed to ensure you play to the best of your abilities. A luscious rosewood fretboard guarantees the peak of performance, giving you a flawless surface to glide across with ease and accuracy. This is backed up by an excellent maple neck, which provides a comfortable grasp that still guarantees enough freedom to blaze basslines across the range of the instrument.
Hofner’s staple nickel pickups
As well as offering a superb acoustic tone, the Ignition Club Bass is equipped with a pair of Hofner staple nickel pickups to offer a big classic sound, reminiscent of the 1960s. Achieving the perfect tone is easy with the famous Hofner control panel, which features options for volume, treble, bass, and solo boost for a great sixties style sound. This stunning bass guitar allows you to capture the tones of the ’50s and ’60s at a very affordable price.
